    Show

    Our main entrance is accessed via stairs or a ramp on the left hand side of the main doors. From there, a manual elevator will take you to the lobby for check-in. An elevator attendant will be assigned to help you navigate the space. The only space that is not accessible is our "Juliet" balcony, which is reserved for night and date packages only and requires two flights of stairs. If you cannot access Juliet's Balcony and you have purchased a Meeting Package, please notify the ticket office athttps://www.vangoghchicago.com/contactos/to arrange accommodation.

    bathrooms

    There are restrooms on all three floors of our exhibit. There are accessible stalls in the men's and women's restrooms and a family restroom on the porch level.

    sensory consulting

    This screen contains bright lights that may cause discomfort to people with photosensitive epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised.

    Part of the immersive experience is the music, which can be loud at times. This may cause discomfort for people with sensitive hearing. Earplugs are available upon request. If you need to exit the gallery, you can re-enter through the lobby after taking a break.

    Mobility aids and service animals

    Wheelchairs, walkers and scooters are allowed. We have a first-come, first-serve wheelchair on site for those who need one, and several folding chairs that can be brought to the show for people who have difficulty standing for long periods of time. Service animals are allowed on the gallery.

    We recommend that you leave valuables, large bags and other personal belongings at home. For the safety of visitors and the collection, all bags entering or leaving the exhibition, including bags, are subject to inspection.

    Backpacks and backpacks are not allowed in the exhibition.

    Parking lot

    The exhibition does not have dedicated parking on site, but there are several public parking lots nearby. The closest car park is our partner car park, the James Kilmer Garage.

    It is located across the street (45 meters) and offers valet parking. We suggest that any member of your group with mobility issues be dropped off on our side of the street before entering the garage.

  • About the immersive Van Gogh Chicago

    The US premiere of the immersive Van Gogh exhibition from the creators of the successful exhibition seen by more than 2 million visitors in Paris. Immerse yourself in 500,000 cubic feet of astonishing projection that enlivens the master's handiwork and illuminates the mind of the genius. Wander through giant projections that bring out brushwork, detail, and color like you've never experienced before. Visitors will be immersed in Van Gogh's works, from his sunny landscapes and night scenes to his portraits and still lifes. The installation includes his work Les Mangeurs de pommes de terre (The Potato Eaters, 1885) to La Nuit étoilée (Starry Night, 1889), Les Tournesols (Sunflowers, 1888) and La Chambre à coucher (The Bedroom, 1889). . The exhibit was designed specifically for the impressive Lighthouse Artspace Chicago, a new venue within Chicago's recently renovated Germania Club Building. The three-story facility is dedicated to immersive art presentations, bridging the boundaries between entertainment and culture to give visitors the feeling that they are encountering art like never before. Using the building's Victorian-era architectural details, 35-foot-high walls, and multiple levels (including balconies), the venue will feature vibrant art exhibits that surround the viewer on all sides. Experience the organic landscapes of Van Gogh's imagination and ride the roller coaster of Van Gogh's Descent into Madness. It is staggering in scale, incredibly imaginative, and a completely new take on the master's work.

    In accordance with City of Chicago guidelines for venues, Immersive ArtSpace Chicago will not require patrons to wear a mask or provide proof of vaccination to enter our exhibits.

    We encourage all clients to wear whatever personal protective equipment they are comfortable with, but it is optional.

    This policy is subject to change with any future mandate or announcement made by the City of Chicago government.
